...let your Nor Cal members know - I'm trying to prepare a comprehensive document with lessons learned from the San Jose rally. Sort of a post mortem "what went right, what went wrong, how to improve" thing. It may take a few days, as we are all recovering and catching up!

If there are few cases which are returned for false reasons ( see other thread) after Aug 17th probably those few will be forgotten till PD becomes Current again - 6-7 yrs - Huh ? :)

I emailed them not as me but as my employer( point of contact mentioned in the labor petition) and it works they send me a copy of the labor approval to my house along with a copy to my employer and one to my attroney. It really works.

Notice date is different from Receipt date. If your file is delivered on July 2nd then you would get a receipt date of July 2nd even if your information is entered into the system 2 months after the receipt date.
I am confused about receipt date?
Notice date is when the receipt notice is generated- That's simple
Is receipt date the date when they do data entry into the system or is it the date when they receive the package even though they may do data entry a month later?
In other words people who filed there application on July 2nd,3rd etc ... and lets say USCIS takes 2 months to receipt those cases.. then after 2 months when the notice is generated won't it have a July 2nd receipt date? for July 2 filers?

Also, Day 1, the FOIA initiative had a goal of $5K.
And without reason, the goal was increased to $10K.
So, pappu should not complain of not reaching the goal when he keeps increasing the goal.

We all felt like increasing the goal becasue out the 100 or so FOIA responses we got atleat we should be able to respond to couple of them. FOIA is not the only one needing money.

My attorney received a letter from DOL 11/21/2005 noticed the case closure, replied the next day mentioned this is an error to close this case.
FedEex another letter to DOL to reiniate reopen this case on 11/29/2005.
Still no message from DOL now.
ETA#: P-04324-XXXXX

Try to reopen now
