    HI Gurus,

    I am working in Job A and my GC was filed for Job B by my current employer. It has been more than 180 day since my I-485 is pending. Is it possible that I switch employers using AC21 since I have worked for my sponsoring employer for 180 days but in different job. I will appreciate your feedback. Thanks

    Our I-485 applications were received by Texas Lock box on September 24th. I have not received the receipt number yet. We are leaving to India on Nov 20th for vacation, its quite stressful because we need that receipt before we travel.

    Law.com reports that the American Bar Association is being pressured to move a conference in Phoenix scheduled for next week after its co-sponsor for the event, the National Legal Aid & Defender Association, announced it was pulling out of the event.     My employer filed for my H-1B in premium processing, but it got denied because lawyer submitted wrong EIN number.

    My questions are:

    Will they re-consider my case if lawyer submits the correct EIN number?

    How much time will it take to process, if the willing to re-consider the case?

    Hello Guys,

    I need urgent help please.
    I am on 8th year of my H-1B, expiring on July-2008.
    I am on EB3 Nebraska, PD 07/2003.
    I-140 pending � RFE on Education (3 years degree) replied on December-2007
    EAD approved on September-2007.
    I485 aplied on july-2-2007

    Just got an email from Cris that my I485 was denied. I don�t know the reason.
    My I140 is still pending � almost 4 months after my attorney replied the I140 RFE.

    Today I am writing this in order to understand my available options and strategy to this situation.
    I have less than 2 months on H-1(b).

    What are my options?
    Anybody in the same situation?

    My friend has his I-485 filed and has got EAD/AP, but the priority date is so behind, that he has no chance of getting a green card before his marriage. So, as I understand he should be able to bring his wife on H4 (as long as he maintains H1). My question is: does he have to re-file for I-485 to include his wife and if so will the priority date remain the same as the first application?She needs to file her own I-485 but only when PD become current. She has the same PD as primary applicant.

    I filed my case in July 2nd(filer) and didn't receive my receipt and then again I file the same application/case on Oct 2007. Finally I got both the receipts.

    Hi,

    Do you think the lottery will take place for 2010 year H-1B filing?

    zero I think...
    H1 filing follows the general employment scene, and with the current employment levels, and the relatively low levels of recovery being seen so far, the chance of a lottery seems almost nil....
    H1s for last year ran out just last week, why would 65k cases show up within a day just 3 months later?
    However I dont expect it to last till December 2010 like it did this year. Employment is going to slowly improve going forward, TARP H1 hiring restrictons dont apply to many banks...

    NO, a 3-year extension is possible after I-140 is approved. In your case you will get a one-year extension based on PERM which is pending for 1 year, or is approved by the time you need to file for H-1B extension.

    Let the EAD expire, it makes more sense to use H1B when you enter the country. EAD and Advance Parole should be avoided and be used only as a last resort in extreme cases beacuse of the way immigration rules are carved.

    I'm sure the lawyers have already told you that this is not possible. The company cannot refile PERM now because all the ads, posting, etc are too old. They would have to start again.

    ive tried styling / changing this http://www.codeproject.com/KB/WPF/WPF_3D_Pie_Chart.aspx example but still it doesnt look as nice as the .net charting one :(

    maybe someone knows how to make this one in wpf :)
